Sometime we are unhappy about our situations. Sometimes we feel like we should be playing at a different school, or we should be playing on the gold team instead of the silver team. There are even times when you’re the second string but you want to be or think you should be on the first string! No matter where you are, you have to do you! You have to ball out! You have to be your best! You have to bloom where you are planted. We tend to let circumstances dictate our efforts, our mindset, and our output. But really, if the drive is IN YOU, where it needs to be, the circumstances shouldn’t matter. So, is the love of basketball (football, dancing, debating, etc) inside of YOU? If it is, you can be a beast and ball out anywhere. If it is not… well… hopefully people around you will challenge you to dig deep and find it. Rarely will it be the case that you always have the ideal situation. But that’s ok, because the baller in you is ready to be let out no matter where you are.
