Good morning, Hoopers! Starting today, let’s get after it! Whatever “it” is, let’s get after it… and quietly! No announcements, just work… because sometimes people don’t believe us anyway… and rightfully so!

What would you do if you’re at the orchard and the salesman tells you the tree you’re looking at is a lemon tree but you see apples on the ground, falling off and even hanging on the tree still? What would you do? What do you tell him? I’m pretty sure that you’d be convinced that it’s an apple tree. I’m pretty sure that you would look at what the tree is doing or producing and be able to make a solid case that the tree being questioned is an apple tree. The sign and even the salesman can tell you it’s a lemon tree all day long, but when you look at the actions of the tree, you KNOW BETTER than to believe that is so.

The same applies to us as hoopers and people. You can profess to be the best shooter in the league, the best rebounder on the or this and that, that and this. But the reality is, we can take it to the stats and see if that is true.

So starting now, let’s JUST work… and let our actions do all the talking… They speaker the loudest anyway.
