Good morning IG/Hoopers! Some of you may not have traditional bills to pay yet, and be happy about that! lol. Just keep being a kid. Others do have bills, and we feel like paying them every 30 days feels like every 5 minutes. Well, a bill that you have to pay even more often than that, whether you’re a “grown up” or “just a kid” is your success bill. Like I said a couple of weeks ago… success is not a destination, it’s a journey… you don’t arrive… there’s no destination. And success is not free! There’s not one big payment that you make to be successful. There’s a lot of payments. You don’t work hard for one summer and think you’ve paid for success. You can’t spend Spring Break working super hard and think you’re success bill has been covered, or paid in full. Success is something that you have to keep on paying for. You work really hard today so that you can be successful tomorrow. But tomorrow, you still have to work really hard to make sure to keep your success for the following day. So remember, don’t get a little bit of recognition, a high ranking, have a stellar game, and think that you now own success! You don’t. You have to pay for it again and again, every day!
