Delay, Not Defeat!
Happy Friday, people! I’m excited about today’s message because it allows us to take a situation with a such a negative connotation and realize that it doesn’t have to be the end. A couple of weeks ago we talked about how success isn’t a destination, rather it’s a journey! Well, the same applies for failure. Failure doesn’t have to be your destination if you don’t want it to be. It can merely be a delay. So yea, it may slow you down, but it doesn’t have to to shut you down. It can cause you to switch up your course and reroute your navigation, but it doesn’t have be a dead in that you’re stuck in! It’s Friday and we’re going into the weekend… I’m not sure how well you played in last weekend’s tournament, this week’s practice or yesterday’s scrimmage… but if it wasn’t how you wanted, you still have another chance to get it right. That’s the past… a speed bump, a detour. But today, we have a future… hope and promise! Let’s make it happen!
